How can you increase your visibility in the eyes of motorists?

This is an issue that should be high on your agenda, whatever your mode of transport, as long as you don't drive!
Seeing and being seen by motorists is a matter of survival, so we will try to shed some light on this.

[Safety] - 5 Tips To Be More Visible On The Road

 1. Wear light-coloured clothes and bright colours

Stop dressing like Men in Black. We all remember the biker dressed in black leather who looked so cool on his black bike in some movie or other, but in real life, riding in dark clothing is rather dangerous during the day and downright suicidal at night.

Whenever possible, ride with white or brightly coloured equipment(jacket, helmet, etc.) to attract the attention of other riders.

2. Wear a reflective waistcoat

During the day, it's just a little extra that you can do without, but at night it's vital. Wearing a reflective waistcoat allows you to make your body visible in the dark to other road users, who will be more vigilant.

4. Wear portable turn signals

5. Become a Christmas tree

This is a bit of a crazy tip, but it's a very good one for anyone who drives in the countryside on really poorly lit roads. There are now USB Christmas lights, so all you have to do is get an external battery and plug in the lights you have wrapped around you! Effect and efficiency guaranteed on the country roads.
